What to Expect During the Lipo 360 Procedure

Because 360 Lipo is performed as an outpatient procedure, you’ll be able to return home the same day. To ensure your comfort, we start by applying a local anesthetic to the targeted area. A tiny incision—just 3 to 5 millimeters, about the size of a freckle—is then made in the skin. Through this opening, a fiber-optic cannula (a thin tube) is inserted directly into the fat layer. The laser energy breaks down the fat cells, causing them to rupture, which makes removal easier. The liquefied fat is then gently suctioned out. The amount extracted varies by individual but can be up to 90% of the subcutaneous fat.

One month after your procedure, you will need to wear a compression garment.

Who is a good candidate for Lipo 360?

Lipo 360 is best for people who are close to their ideal body weight and want to get rid of stubborn fat deposits that don’t respond to diet and exercise. You are a good candidate if your BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9. If you are within 20-30 pounds of your ideal weight (typically less than a BMI of 30), 360-degree liposuction may be a good option for you.
